Shri Aghoreshwar in Italy, 1990

Shri Sarvershwari Samooh Italia was founded in 1995 with the aim  of bringing help to the poorest classes of Varanasi and adjacent zones.

To be able to work in India a local association had to be founded and our President, Umberto Biffi (Aghor Gurubaba) and Aghor Surya Dev Ramji (Anil Baba), honorary member, established in 1998 in Varanasi the association Pujya Maa Shri Sarveshwari Seva Sangh. Then started the building of the centre Shri Aghoreshwar Siddhapeeth Avimukta Ganga Maa on the banks of Ganga river, just next to the Samadhi of Shri Aghoreshwar.

Shri Sarveshwari Samooh Italia provided the means for the building and takes care to provide financial support for the maintenance and the development of present and future projects. Baba Surya Dev Ramji took upon himself the huge responsibility of the complete direction of the place.

Frequently our members go there and take part in the planning and implementation of  various activities, always fully respecting local traditions and without any religious, political or cultural interference. A good knowledge of the area and of the social problems have been acquired by our long, sustained and periodic visits.

The Association meets its financial needs through self-assessment, donations  and by taking parts in events, markets and fairs with products from  Indian handicrafts. The members accept the original Aghor teaching of Shri Aghoreshwar Bhagwan Ramji and give their service for free and without any self-interest.
